Development of an elegant and unparalleled saddle cinch line in 100% pure fibers of traditional Mohair remains the ArtCords' brand focus. By teaching the techniques of hand-tailored cinch making maintaining premium quality, as I was taught in high school, makes it possible to implement upgrades/improvements from field studies as we continue to design items to bolster the stateside economy.

International interest is growing in our custom designs made here in the USA. We are also pursuing requests for cinches as art... since our work is individually hand-tailored, no two are exactly the same. We look forward to creating a work of art to your specifications as well which now can be made right here in our Northwest Arkansas workshop, in some cases, exclusively with USA components.

Stock Item availability will vary daily as orders are filled. When these items are in-stock we aim to ship in one to five business days. Due to the increasing demand for pure Mohair colors and the new Alpaca cordage (very limited availability), most sizes and styles are currently 'Made to order' and will be produced on a first order/first ship basis.

Standard cinch sizes are 26" to 36" with 1/2 scale sizes of 14" and 17" length(other sizes - up to 96" are presently possible as Special Order)

Special order items are presently made personally by Darin Alexander and delivery will vary considerably based on material availability and order volumes. For first-article and/or one-of-a-kind exclusive items, there will be an initial consultation fee of $75(non-refundable) for us to research the project. A subsequent contract agreement will be drawn up outlining a one-time set-up fee, determined by the scope of the request, hourly design fees, and any custom material fees or engineering required for the project.

Mr. Alexander continues developing the ArtCords brand with the goal of providing premium, custom cinches tailored to traditional use or as home decor. Thus far there seems to be unlimited possibilities! (Hernia belt and Elephant cinch have already been created...)
